  • D.A. McMahon announces takedown of 10 drug dealers on felony charges
  • Richmond County District Attorney Michael E. McMahon and NYPD Commissioner William J. Bratton today announced the takedown of 10 drug dealers who sold heroin and cocaine in and around Stapleton, as well as other North Shore locales. Three additional defendants were arrested during search warrant executions that yielded quantities of narcotics and related paraphernalia. An arrest warrant was also issued for one individual that remains unapprehended.

  • D.A. McMahon: Experienced Prosecutor Thomas C. Ridges To Join Office
  • Richmond County District Attorney Michael E. McMahon today announced that Thomas C. Ridges will be joining the office as Special Counsel to the District Attorney. In this newly-created post, Ridges will advise DA McMahon on legal matters, as well as oversee cases being prosecuted by the Narcotics Bureau, Investigations Bureau and the Crime Strategies Unit. Ridges will start on Feb. 1.

  • DA McMahon: Staten Island Man Convicted for Robbery at Ferry Bus Terminal
  • Richmond County District Attorney Michael E. McMahon today announced that FRANK ANDOLINA has been found guilty of Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a class C violent felony, for threatening to stab a South Shore store employee with a hypodermic syringe during an attempted robbery.

  • DA McMahon: Staten Island Man Convicted of Murder in the First Degree
  • Richmond County District Attorney Michael E. McMahon today announced that DANTE VIGGIANO has been found guilty of Murder in the First Degree, a class A violent felony, for the home-invasion murder of a 66-year-old man inside the victim’s South Shore home.
